The Bluegrass Situation returns for a second year to The Long Road with the creation of Sunday’s BGS Songwriters Parlour. Continuing the long tradition of great listening room venues such as The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, The Troubadour in Los Angeles, and The Gaslight in New York, BGS brings together some of today’s best roots songwriters from the US, Canada, and the UK, culminating in a one-of-a-kind in-the-round session, swapping stories and songs.


Loose Music are proud to be returning to The Long Road Festival in 2019 with their hand-picked line-up of top Americana acts for the Honky Tonk Stage. 2019 sees Loose Records coming of age after 21 years of being Europe’s premier Americana record label. In this time Loose have signed the likes of Grammy Award winner Sturgill Simpson, Courtney Marie Andrews, Dawes, Andrew Combs, Danny & The Champions Of The World, The Felice Brothers, Neko Case to name a few.

BBC Music Introducing Takeover

BBC Music Introducing supports unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar music across the UK. It gives up-and-coming artists broadcast opportunities on BBC radio, television and online alongside the chance to perform at major festivals and showcases. Introducing will be giving new country artists the chance to perform on the Front Porch. Come along and watch their new country favourites on Saturday 7th September.
