Camping ticket holders can bring a reasonable amount of food plus the following alcohol quantities for personal consumption into the campsite upon initial entry only: 1 x 70cl spirits (no greater than 40% ABV) and 12 x 440ml cans beer/cider&nbsp;OR3 litres of wine and 12 x 440ml cans beer/cider No food or drink can be taken into the main festival arena. However, we do allow sealed bottles of water up to 750ml, and empty unsealed bottles can be brought in to be refilled at the water points. No glass is allowed anywhere on site, including in campervans or caravans. Please decant into plastic containers before you leave home. The legal age to bring alcohol into the festival is 18+. There is an ID check on entry and any alcohol will be taken off you if you are found to be underage. A list of all our food vendors will be added here in the new year, including information on dietary provision. For customers with specific dietary requirements that we don’t cater for, we do allow a reasonable amount of food to be brought into the festival arena for personal consumption. This must be confirmed with us in advance of the festival by writing to info@thelongroad.com.

FOOD & DRINK

We kindly ask that you do not place camping chairs forward of the central sound tower of the Rhinestone Stage at any time of day. You will kindly be asked to fold it away or move further back.&nbsp; Picnic blankets, trolleys and wagons will be permitted further forwards; however customers will be asked to pack them away for the headline performances.&nbsp; By taking these steps together, we can ensure all attendees have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable Rhinestone stage experience. Clearly marked, chair free routes will be in place at other stages. We ask that you respect these area to enable a safe event for everyone.We have had to implement this policy because the use of chairs and ground blankets disrupts the viewing experience of those standing around them and also presents a safety hazard.Picnic bench seating can be found around bar and food outlets.

You are welcome to bring Cracker Jack to enjoy The Long Road for the day (or weekend if staying in a caravan/campervan or Pitch &amp; Park), but please read and acknowledge all information in the dedicated dog section of our FAQs

Please pack light. To maximise the safety of everyone attending The Long Road, all customers may be subject to a thorough security check when they arrive. Please be patient if there are queues and familiarise yourself with the below prohibited items before you arrive to avoid unnecessary delays at the security checks. We recommend you don’t bring any unnecessary valuables. Unfortunately, festival campsites can attract opportunistic thieves. Keep valuables safe and away from the door of your tent.

BAGS

There are certain items that are not permitted into the festival or specifically the festival arena or campsite. These items are not limited to the below list but please do not bring any of the following: <ul><li>Cameras, film or video equipment with a lens greater than 6inches</li><li>Drones</li><li>Generators</li><li>Glass</li><li>Illegal substances or legal highs</li><li>Paper lanterns</li><li>Perfume in small glass bottles over 100ml</li><li>Unrecognisable medication without a doctor’s note or prescription</li><li>Confederate flags</li><li>Garments and items which promote cultural appropriation including, but not limited to head dresses</li></ul> We allow the following items to be taken into the campsites, but not the arena:<ul><li>Flags on flagpoles (excluding confederate flags) as there are overhead powerlines in the arena</li><li>Cooking equipment – charcoal BBQs and small butane gas stoves (single burner with gas cylinder up to 500g) All BBQs must be raised off the ground during use.</li><li>Gazebos (maximum size 3m x 3m)</li></ul>*charcoal BBQs and gazebos of any size are not permitted in the Glamping area. Umbrellas can be taken into the arena but for the comfort of others, we ask that you please do not use them in front of stages as you may restrict the view of others. For the enjoyment and safety of others we also reserve the right to stop the following items from coming into the event: <ul><li>Any item which we reasonably deem may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person (for example: large sound systems, fireworks)</li><li>Any item which may be used as a weapon (for example: kitchen knives, corrosive substances)</li></ul> Please also see above sections for rules about bringing Food, Alcohol, Water, Chairs and Dogs to the festival
