Sustainability is very important to us and we constantly review our policies. We are proud to support Stanford Hall’s Community Supported Agricultural Scheme and plan to deliver food waste from our traders to compost for growing produce that will be used at the festival each year.
Other highlights include working with a leading waste contractor to help us segregate and recycle as much as possible, our food traders use only compostable serve-ware and our creative installations are developed using sustainable practices.
We encourage our Long Road visitors to bring their own reusable water bottles, that can be refilled at water points across the festival site.
We are keen to see as many people travel to the festival by public transport as possible, including using our shuttle buses, plus we are committed to ensure we use fuel as sparingly as possible on-site, by constantly monitoring power generators.
