So, if you’ve got more than just a taste for country and Americana, and you think your constitution can take it head to Billy Bob’s Hot Dog and Corn Dog Stand in the Showground by 12.30pm today to sign up and go for glory at our Hot Dog Showdown. And if you’re appetite isn’t quite that super-sized, then drop by at 1pm when the fun begins to witness an epic taste tournament.

Lasso Workshop – Showground

If you fancy yourself as a true cowhand or wrangler, then the Lasso Workshop is for you. From 2.45pm at the Showground you’ll be able practise one of the truly great western traditions. Learn amazing rope spinning skills and transform yourself from a beginner to a buckaroo boss!

Rich Hall’s Hoedown – Interstate

A mighty mash-up of music and stand up comedy, Rich will be travelling the Long Road from withering putdowns of today’s America to a joyous celebration of Americana with foot-stomping good times guaranteed

Kip Moore – Rhinestone Stage

The Long Road’s star spangled adventure doesn’t get more exciting than a headline set from country superstar Kip Moore. He may be one of America’s most successful musicians but his love affair with his UK fans is legendary. A magnetic performer with an incredible band and one of the finest catalogues of country music around, you know that the only place to be at 8.45 tonight is the Rhinestone Stage for what is destined to be a Long Road moment with Kip!

Nash Nights After Party with DJ Hish

Once Kip Moore is done knocking your socks off, you’re sure to want more flatfooting fun long into the night, so get yourself down to the Nash Nights After Party with DJ Hish. Kicking off from 11pm they will be bringing the essence of Nashville’s nightclub scene to the heart of the Long Road. Don’t miss a night of cowboy boogies and electric slides surrounded by your country family.
