What Can I Bring?
Before travelling, make sure you’re familiar with our list of permitted and prohibited items.
This includes information on camping equipment, cooking equipment, power banks, gazebos, flags, umbrellas and other items that can and can’t come onto site.
DOGS AT THE LONG ROAD
Dogs are welcome at The Long Road, but there are a few important things to know before you arrive. Please make sure you’ve read our full guidance on bringing dogs to the festival, including where they are permitted and how to keep them safe and comfortable throughout the weekend.
Fire Safety
Cooking Equipment, Campfires & Fire Pits
We do not allow firepits in the campsites.
Following the exceptionally warm and dry summer there will be an increased risk of grass fires at the Long Road.
For the safety of all, campfires, open flames and charcoal BBQs (including disposable foil BBQs) will not be allowed at the festival.
Gas camping stoves will be allowed only if they are raised off the ground on purpose built legs or stands, or placed on a stable table. Please ensure that any cooking equipment is always supervised while in use and familiarise yourself with the location of the campsite fire points when you arrive.
Pitch and Park, Premium Camping and General Camping ticket holders: You may bring in one gas canister up to 5kg. Any larger canisters will be taken from you at the gates of the festival.
Live-In Vehicle users: You may bring in one gas canister (up to 13kg within your vehicle). Any larger canisters will be taken from you at the gates of the festival.
If you smoke, please dispose of your cigarette ends carefully and ensure they are full extinguished before discarding. There will be sand buckets available in the arena.
We will monitor the weather closely in the coming weeks and take advice from local authorities to ensure our festival is as safe as possible in this warm weather. We will keep you updated regarding as the event approaches and make sure you have time to plan accordingly.
MAKE SPACE FOR EVERYONE
Camping chairs and picnic blankets are welcome in the arena, but please help us keep key areas accessible and comfortable for everyone.
At the Rhinestone Stage, chairs and blankets should not be placed forward of the central sound tower. At the Interstate Stage, chairs and blankets should not be used after 5pm.
Clearly marked chair-free routes will also be in place. Please keep these areas clear throughout the weekend.
Re-usable Cups
A £2 cup fee applies as part of our Reusable Cup Scheme.
When ordering your next drink, exchange your used cup for a new one. You can also return your cup for a token if you don’t want to hold onto it.
Please return used cups to the bars or designated cup bins and help us keep the site clean and reduce waste.
