First Time Flyers are four seasoned artists whose individual journeys have taken them everywhere from the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium to London’s West End. With charttopping hits, majorlabel experience, national tours, and BBC Radio 2 support already behind them, they’ve united to create something bigger than any one of them could have built alone. Their music is rooted in rich harmonies and timeless songwriting, delivered with the kind of chemistry that turns firsttime listeners into lifelong fans.
Made up of Jake Morrell, Poppy Fardell, Tim ProtteyJones, and Vicki Manser, First Time Flyers thrive on connection — with each other and with their audience. Their sound blends emotional storytelling with interwoven fourpartharmonies, bringing passion, unity, and a joyful spark to every song.
Their debut album Bound To Break, released on 12th September, shot straight to Number One on the Official UK Country Albums Chart. The record captures the exhilaration and vulnerability of love, packed with songs that feel as powerful on a soldout tour as they do through headphones. The Bound To Break Tour sold out across the UK and is already rumoured to be heading overseas in 2026.
Their breakout single Jump is pure adrenaline — a fearless leap into love with no safety net. Its companion track Out Of Your Mind reveals the other side of that emotional rollercoaster, where doubt and longing collide. Together, the songs form a twopart story told with honesty, fire, and unforgettable hooks. Both tracks made major waves on radio, landing playlists on BBC Radio 2, Smooth Country, Absolute Country, and Country Line Radio.
But it’s on stage where First Time Flyers truly take flight. Their live shows are electric, fuelled by a connection you can see and feel from the first note to the last. Whether supporting artists like Bruce Springsteen, The Chicks, and The Shires, stepping out in front of festival crowds at C2C in London, Glasgow & Berlin, or returning to their own devoted audiences, they bring a sense of occasion to every performance. With the Jump On Tour and their soldout Bound ToBreak UK Album Tour, they’re building something bigger than a fanbase — they’re building a community.
With international appearances including Country 2 Country Berlin and growing support across BBC Radio 2 and beyond, First Time Flyers are carving out a league of their own. With every new release and every electrifying performance, they continue to prove they’re more than just a band — they’re a movement, bringing people together through harmony, heart, and a live show that stays with you long after the final note.
