At the crossroads where country, pop, folk and rock meet, there stands Amber Saqladi. Hailing from South-Leicestershire, her music is emotionally charged and unapologetically honest – weaving human vulnerability with fierce feminine resilience to create a sound that feels both timeless and entirely her own. With over 1M views across platforms, a feature in Rolling Stone UK and even praise from Taylor Swift, Amber is fast emerging as a breakout voice redefining Americana from within the UK. With only two songs officially released, Amber was selected as one of BBC Introducing’s “Hot Artists for 2026”.
Amber’s debut single ‘Liquor’ was a shimmering, country-pop confessional about using love as a vice. The track blends golden-hour warmth with the sting of truth and self-awareness, and was made ‘Track of the Week’ on all 8 BBC Radio stations in the Midlands. Following closely behind came ‘No Apologies’: a spell of sacred feminine rage and defiance cast against the centuries-old silencing of women’s voices. With haunting production, ethereal harmonies and lyrics that burn with truth, Amber channels her signature dark-americana magic – where the mystical meets the brutally honest. Anchored by the lyric “You can bring me to my knees, but you can’t choose how loud I scream”, ‘No Apologies’ reclaims the old “she’s gonna key his car” feminine rage trope, turning vengeance into liberation. Both tracks were produced by multi-platinum King Tut at Metropolis Studios and mastered by Grammy-nominated Jonas Westling.
Amber has performed at The Long Road Festival, Buckle & Boots, CarFest, Liverpool Sound City and even headlined a stage of her own at The Alternative Escape 2026. She’s opened for Paris Paloma and Billy Lockett and has performed with BBC Introducing, Rough Trade and Metropolis Studios. Described as “the one artist… who really pushed the boundaries of Americana” by w21 music, her earth-rooted, mystical sound promises to move and disrupt in equal measure. To Amber, this is more than just music – her songwriting is an invitation into a space where it is safe to experience the emotions we have long been taught to hide.
